WHAT IS THE MASTERS’ CLUB?

The CTA ® Masters Club members are comprised of those who have committed themselves wholly to becoming a Black Belt and beyond. They will enter this prestigous club as apprentices and emerge as 1st Degree Black Belt, then, onto 2nd Degree Black Belt which are really big steps toward true mastery.

Keep in mind that a true martial artist achieves, not only by virtue of his/her rank, but with competence, resolve and humility. Competent in skill, resolve to maintain and increase skill, and humble in self-opinion.

Our stewardship in the Lord is a lifelong progression.

Just as the One we serve is our Master, we must also train and abide in the ways we have been taught, and to do so we must be of a mindset (Romans 12:2) to transform ourselves not merely by living for each moment of self-mastery, but to serve our generation as we were born for such a time as this – serving our King as kings on this earth.

As members of the Masters’ Club we are to consider ourselves as undergraduates; as lifelong disciples!

MASTERS’ PATCH SYMBOLISM

Patches’ Gold color represents royalty.

All the words surrounding the patches are the fruits of the spirit.

The green is an olive branch representing Israel. (our Jewish Messiah).

The helmet represents salvation, thebreastplate represents righteousness, the sword is the Sword of the Spirit.

The red crest represents the blood shed by Jesus.

The lion represents the Lion from the tribe of Judah.

The horse is the only animal that has their feet shod, we are to have our feet shod in preparation for the gospel of peace.

The purple banner represents royalty, representing Gods’ grace over all of us.
